No,  with the Extreme filter it would be too hard to get the water through the filter as you have to squeeze and suck the water through the filter. No, they will not fit.

Why doesn't this one "say" it filters out viruses and bacteria

The EPA made new rules that they have to be registered through them to claim they remove it to be able to put it in the description but they do remove it and have been tested through a third-party testing company you can see the test result at the bottom of the description.
