AquaCera water filter elements start with our silver impregnated ceramic micro-filter. Advances in the ceramic filtration manufacturing process result in a more effective and efficient means of treating a wide range of waterborne contaminants.
Modern manufacturing practices give our ceramic elements a more controlled and consistent pore structure; the inclusion of silver gives the filter element bacteriostatic properties which prevents mitosis (grow through) and is self sterilizing. Our ceramic range is available with or without a carbon core, which allows greater flexibility in choosing the right filter based on your water filtration needs.
Filters are compatible with ProOne, Berkey, and other gravity filter systems
The Aquacera 7" CeraPlus Ceramic Plus Filter has granular activated, coconut shell based carbon to the core of the ceramic, the addition of which allows for treatment of chlorine, taste and odor. Ceramic elements for use in gravity filter systems are designated as CeraPlus™ Plus.
Filters also fit most other brands of gravity systems.

How do I clean the filter?
You remove the filter from the gravity system and with a soft bristle brush or green scotch brite pad you gently scrub under cold running water, rinse and put back in system.

Do these remove heavy metals?
These are more for chlorine, taste, odor, and bacteria. The CeraMetix filters are the best ones. Here is a link to them.

Will it fit my Big Berkey water filter?
Yes, they will fit the Big Berkey systems.

Yes it will fit them and it does the same filtration.
