    The price is for 1 filter.

  • how often do I need to change the filters

    you should change them yearly.

  • Are you supposed to remove the mesh that comes wrapped around the Aquametix replacement filters before installing? Are you supposed to wash the Aquametix replacement filters before installing?

    No, you do not need to remove the mesh from the filter. And you don't need to wash the filters.
