Our Cobalt Blue Terra2™ gravity filter housing is made from our own recipe of processed clay. Each piece is hand-finished, and the glaze is sprayed by hand. Our glaze is lead-free and made on site.
The Cobalt Blue Terra2™ holds 2 AquaCera® gravity filter elements in the upper reservoir, and the lower reservoir holds 1 gallon of filtered water ready for use.
The Terra2™ continues our philosophy of bringing gravity filters back to their pottery origins with this unique and highly attractive alternative to stainless steel units. Finished in an off-white glaze, the Terra2™ is designed for daily use at home or work, or just about anywhere.
The Terra2™ is manufactured in the USA.
Fully assembled the Terra2™ measures 18” high with the lid in place. The diameter is 8”.
Unit weight is 14 lbs empty.
Terra2™ Features:
- 100% Stoneware, handmade in the USA
- Holds 2 AquaCera® Slimline filter elements, up to 7" in length
- Includes stainless steel spigot
- Lower reservoir holds 1 gallon of filtered water
- Total volume of unit is 2 gallons (upper and lower reservoir combined)
- Imperial filters will not fit in this system, only Slimline
With CeraMetix Filters
CeraMetix GF filter elements utilize our class-leading ceramic microporous outer shell combined with our AquaMetix® granular core technology.
AquaMetix® is made from the highest quality NSF component certified (ANSI 61) coconut shell based activated carbon and other superior adsorbent materials including B2 (ANSI 61).
The ceramic shell and our AquaMetix granular combines mechanical filtration and physical absorption processes to reduce a wide variety of drinking water contaminants of both aesthetic and health concerned.
The pore structure of the ceramic enables sufficient contact time for AquaMetix® to be ideally suited to improving taste and odor as well as reducing chlorine, chloramine, volatile organic compounds, MTBE, lead, mercury, asbestos, arsenic, and fluoride. The cleanable ceramic shell is designed to remove suspended solids, pathogenic bacteria, and cysts. The CeraMetix® elements have been tested in accordance with NSF protocols for cyst, turbidity, particulates, lead, chloramines and chlorine reduction.
CeraMetix AMB Version Block Filter
The AMB version offers more consistent filtration reductions over the life of the filter when compared to the GF version due to the water having to pass through the carbon block wall inside the ceramic filter element. The block ensures all the water has sufficient contact time, resulting in slightly higher reductions and more consistency than the GF versions.
The AMB version has a slower flow rate than the GF version due to the block core. Flow will taper off as the water in the upper reservoir drops, to maintain flow we recommend topping up the upper reservoir periodically. The AMB version includes a white tube in the carton that can be inserted into the opening in the threaded end of the filter to increase flow rate.
Contaminant Removals

Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
Does it remove micro plastics?
Yes the CeraMetix filters and the AquaMetix filters will remove the Micro Plastics
-
Why, after the first fill and spill, do you need to wait overnight to do the second fill and spill?
It has never been removed from the instruction sheet from a previous filter they had. You no longer have to wait to do the second fill. Flushing the filters is the main thing now.
-
How is it installed? I live in an apartment with a fancy sink sprayer that came with the apartment. How would this product be installed?
It sits on your counter. You fill the top reservoir, and the water filters through the filters into the lower reservoir.
-
So do I need one of each filter? So 2 filters in the top container, the add2 gallons of h20 and one gallon filters and the 2nd filters as the 1st gallon is being used? How long does the water stay fresh before it needs to be changed?
The top reservoir holds two filters. Add a gallon of water to the top reservoir and let it filter to the bottom. Add more water to the top reservoir once you use the water in the bottom reservoir. Do not add water to the top reservoir if the bottom reservoir is full, as it will overflow at the center, which does not have a seal. The water is good for a few days.
-
Does it remove PFAS?
Yes, if you choose the CeraMetix filters, they filter PFAS.
-
how tall
Fully assembled the Terra2™ measures 18” high with the lid in place. The diameter is 8”. Unit weight is 14lbs empty
-
How much does it weigh without the water in it?
It is 14 pounds empty.
-
How often must you change filter ?
They should be replaced yearly or 700 gallons per filter, (1,400 for both filters)
