Description

Filters are compatible with ProOne, Berkey, and other gravity filter systems. The imperial 5" and 7" filters are the same size as the ProOne filters.

CeraMetix® AMB Gravity filter is the most advanced ceramic filter available. CeraMetix® is our CeraSyl™ DE (diatomaceous earth) ceramic shell with our AquaMetix® QuickDrip™ carbon block core inside to offer the reduction of aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, chloramines, chlorine, fluoride, lead, mercury, nickel, radionuclides, tri-halomethane, and zinc in a single, revolutionary ceramic filter element. The AMB version offers more consistent filtration reductions over the life of the filter when compared to the GF version due to the water having to pass through the carbon block wall inside the ceramic filter element.  The block ensures all the water has sufficient contact time, resulting in slightly higher reductions and more consistency than the GF versions.

The AMB version has a slower flow rate than the GF version due to the block core.  Flow will taper off as the water in the upper reservoir drops, to maintain flow we recommend topping up the upper reservoir periodically.  The AMB version includes a white tube in the carton that can be inserted into the opening in the threaded end of the filter to increase flow rate.

These CeraMetix® elements are for use in gravity filter systems only.  Slimline filters are 2" in diameter, Imperial sized filters are 2.75" in diameter and offer higher flow rates and longer life than the Slimline filters.

  • Do these work in The Water Machine gravity water system? If so, which specific filter? Seems like it would be 7” but doesn’t matter if it’s imperial or regular” looking at the AMB version but would consider the imperial if that one fits and is more worth it

No, they will not work as that company made the holes in their system smaller, so only their filters will fit. We had another customer have the holes drilled bigger by a glass company so they would fit.
