Seychelle Extreme/RAD/ADVANCED Filters are tested to remove up to 99.99% of the following zones of contamination:

Aesthetic contaminants: unpleasant taste, odors, cloudiness, silt, and chlorine

Chemical contaminants: VOCs, toxic chemicals, trihalomethanes, PFOA, PFOS, PCBs, glyphosate, herbicides, detergents, pesticides (DDT), benzene, atrazine, and many more

Inorganic contaminants: heavy metals, aluminum, asbestos, cadmium, chromium 6, copper, arsenic, nitrates & nitrites, lead, mercury, and up to 90% fluoride

Radiological contaminants:gross beta, alpha radium 226, cesium 137 & 134, uranium and radon 222


This filter replacement is used with the 42oz Survival Canteen, 38oz canteen, 28oz bottles.

I have been using Seychelle water filters for years. The cost has been high and that is why I only use this filter for my carry bottle. I use it daily and it goes everywhere with me. I trust this filter and know that in any situation I have clean healthy water. Worth the cost.

I would prefer not to drink radiated water.

This is a quality product that everyone should have on hand. As for the price; I put that in my car seems like every day. My life is worth a heck of a lot more than $20 or $30 bucks. My question to folks who read my review. What is YOUR life worth?

Canteen

I was satisfied until I went to purchase a backup filter. Nearly the cost of the whole canteen. Kind of lost respect for the company after that. I guess that's the world we're living in. Won't be purchasing anything else from them. I'll just call it my disposable canteen.

Not a bad product, but at the price I should have just bought another complete canteen.
Ordered had already shipped or I would have changed it....

The canteen comes with a advanced filter. The extreme filter costs more. If you purchase the advanced filter that comes with the canteen it is $10.00 less than the whole canteen.
