 With CeraMetix Filters

CeraMetix GF filter elements utilize our class-leading ceramic microporous outer shell combined with our AquaMetix® granular core technology.
AquaMetix® is made from the highest quality NSF component certified (ANSI 61) coconut shell-based activated carbon and other superior adsorbent materials including B2 (ANSI 61).

The ceramic shell and our AquaMetix granular combine mechanical filtration and physical absorption processes to reduce a wide variety of drinking water contaminants of both aesthetic and health concerns.

The pore structure of the ceramic enables sufficient contact time for AquaMetix® to be ideally suited to improving taste and odor as well as reducing chlorine, chloramine, volatile organic compounds, MTBE, lead, mercury, asbestos, arsenic, and fluoride. The cleanable ceramic shell is designed to remove suspended solids, pathogenic bacteria, and cysts. The CeraMetix® elements have been tested in accordance with NSF protocols for cyst, turbidity, particulates, lead, chloramines and chlorine reduction.

Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • 1. what is the difference between the 2 filter systems - cera metix and cera plus. 2. I want to see the price of replacement filters and I don't see a drop down menu. 3. do you have a smaller filter system for 1 person?

The CeraMetix filters a wide range of contaminantes plus fluordie the CeraPlus filters chlorine organics and bad taste. At this time this is the smallest gravity system other than a pitcher filter. Here are the links to the replacement filters.

  • Which filters come with this?

You can choose from the CeraMetix or the CeraPlus filters in the drop-down menu.

  • Does this filtration system require the purchase of subsequent filters or do you just clean the filter? I'm looking for something that doesn't require me to buy filter reloads.

You can clean them but it is recommended to change them every 1,200 gallons or when you notice the bad taste is back. Eventually, you have to change filters on every water filter as the media only works for so long.

  • Can the filters be replaced with Pro One filters?

No, as they are to big around it will only hold the slimline filters. The Aquacera CeraMetix filters are the same filters as ProOne filters and they are made in the USA.

  • Does this filter well water?

Yes it does, I would recommend getting it with the CeraMetix filters as they filter out more contaminants

  • Hello. Will the Aquacera Terra2™ Bristol White Stoneware Gravity Filter System work with 9 inch filters?

No, they have to be 5 or 7 inch.

  • I am looking for the Aqua Certa Ss Traveler model . Will it be restocked anytime soon . Can i find that model at a compamy that still has that model . Thank you!

At this time they are out of stock and we do not know when they will be back in. The manufacturer is working on getting them back in.

  • Can the plastic spiggot be replaced with a stainless steel one?

At this time the stainless steel one won't fit in the hole as they got a batch that had a little smaller hole. The blue does have a stainless steel spigot. Here is a link to that one.

Just what I was looking for!

I notice a tremendous difference not only in taste but water color. There is no residual taste left from the tap water. My dogs even refuse to drink tap water now, and will wait for me to give them filtered water. The product was very easy to setup and very easy to use!

Happy customer

We are delighted with it. We are on well water and have been buying bottled water for 20 plus years. Now that is no longer necessary. As an added bonus, it fits perfectly in the counter space that we had available.
