Aquacera NilusOne undersink water filter is an in-line pressure filter system that uses our larger Imperial size filter cartridges allowing for higher flow rates and longer life. The inlet & outlet are 3/8" push-fit connectors and includes a DIY installation kit which includes most parts needed for installation, including a faucet, tubing, mounting bracket & screws, and fittings.
This system includes one AquaCera® Imperial filter cartridge. Available filters are Imperial CeraUltra™ OBE, Imperial CeraMetix® OBE, and AquaMetix® Standard OBE.
System with:
The CeraUltra utilizes our silver-impregnated ceramic DE (diatomaceous earth) shell and adds a carbon block core with lead, mercury, VOC and heavy metal reduction for pressurized filtration systems. Not for use in gravity systems.
All the features of the CerSyl ceramic plus the following:
- Made in the USA
- Cleanable for prolonged life
- 0.5 Micron absolute
- >99.9% Efficiency at 0.2 micron
- Meets or Exceeds NSF/ANSI Standards 42 & 53 for the following:
- >98% Lead & Mercury reduction
- >97% Chlorine reduction
- >95% VOC reduction
- Filters should be replaced annually
- Also available for Franke® systems FRX02 & FRC06
System with:
CeraMetix is the most advanced ceramic filter available. CeraMetix is our CeraSyl DE (diatomaceous earth) ceramic shell with our AquaMetix core inside to offer the reduction of aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, chloramines, chlorine, fluoride, lead, mercury, nickel, radionuclides, silver, tri-halomethane, VOC's and zinc in a single, revolutionary ceramic filter element. These CeraMetix® elements are for use in pressurized filter systems only. Imperial sized filters are 2.75" in diameter and offer higher flow rates and longer life than the Slimline filters.

Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
do i need a floride option on a well
No you porbably dont but the CeraMetix is the better filter.
-
im on a well, which undersink filter is best? mostly worried about bacterias
I would recommend this one or the the Teros undersink. here is the link to the teros.
Aquacera Teros 2S Ultra-Filtration Undersink Water Filter -
i have a well and i'm concerned about bacterial contaminants. i clorinate the well twice a year
Yes, this system will remove bacteria.

How do I know which filter is best for our situation. We have municipal water that smells like chlorine which is subject to contain debris. Thanks!
The nilus one is a great choice, the difference between the 2 filters are the AquaMetix will take care of the Chlorine and other contaminants but will not do bacteria or microbial cysts. With being on Municipal water that should not be a problem for you and the AquaMetix filter would be best choice. It will also have a slightly higher flow rate as the ceramic on the CeraMetix tends to slow the flow a bit due to its density.
As for the CeraMetix it is also a great filter if indeed Bacteria and microbial cysts are a concern, it will filter the chlorine and other contaminants the same as the AquaMetix filter.
If you have a high level of Chlorine, Floride or contaminant you may wish to go with the Nilus two with both the CeraMetix and AquaMetix as the first filter will reduce the contaminant and the 2nd filter will reduce it more or remove the rest. -
