Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • When you go through a first cycle of water once the reservoir filtered water is full and you have to discard the first batch and dump it do you let the filter system sit empty over night after and then fill up again the next day or can you just refill it again right after?

You can fill it right after and use it.

  • I need an instruction manual for this filter if you could help?

For some reason, the manufacturer does not have instructions. You take the wing nut off the threads and make sure the rubber washer is on the filter, put the filter in the hole of your gravity system and screw the wing nut back on. Then, run one batch of water through the filter, and it is ready for use.

  • After I boil my rainwater how many times can I use this filter to make my own drinking water

It has a filtering capacity of around 200 gallons.

  • Does the Aquametix filter remove Glyphosate Roundup herbicide?

    Yes. It does.

  • What is the difference between this filter and the Aquacera Imperial 4 Inch CeraMetix Gravity Filter?

This one does not filter bacteria.
