SMART Water Filtration
Water flows through our SMART special house blend of 2 types of coconut-shell GAC (including Catalytic) with 2 types of Eagle Redox Alloys® (9500 & 6500) & anion exchange resin. This blend effectively reduces & removes heavy metals, chlorine & chloramine, pesticides & herbicides, pharmaceutical by-products & other inorganic substances such as petroleum byproducts. Ceramic and Tourmaline balls to enhance the water and maintain a more alkaline pH.
Water flows through ion exchange resins, reducing heavy metals such as lead, copper, aluminum, and water hardness.
Water flows through granulated activated carbon (GAC). GAC is universally recognized and widely used as an effective adsorbent for a wide variety of organic contaminants, such as chlorine, chemicals linked to cancer (THM's, benzene) pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, volatile organic compounds (VOC's), PCB's, MTBE's and hundreds of other chemical contaminants that may be present in water causing bad taste and odors in your drinking water.
All of our GAC is a mixed blend of coconut shell and catalytic GAC to address both chlorine, chloramines, and these byproducts.
Arsenic Removal
Water travels through an Arsenic-selective resin, designed specifically for reducing or removing arsenic.
Fluoride Removal
Contains Fluoride Charcoal Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) which is specifically designed to have a high affinity for Fluoride. It removes or reduces metals through a mixture of adsorption and chemical reaction with the media; therefore, the elimination is not reliant on ion exchange. Can be used over a wide pH range.

Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
Does running warm or hot water through the system weaker or take away the value of the filter?
Yes! It will damage the filtration media. You should never run anything but cold water through a filter system
-
How long does this filter last?
It has a filtering capacity of up to 10,000 gallons
-
Do you have one filter that takes out the flouride, arcinic and other metals and chlorine?
Yes, here is a link to the Crystal Quest filter that will filter fluoride, arsenic, chlorine and more.
-
I have a 1/4" line of constant supply of cold water. Can I turn on/off the water supply from the countertop water filter?
No, the countertop filter has a diverter valve on your faucet that you turn for filtered water and un-filtered water. I suppose if you have a valve on your 1/4" line you could turn that on or off.
