Placed on the home counter, this slim upright filter leaves plenty of room for the rest of the counter to be used for preparing food, stacking groceries when you return home from the store, or putting hand-washed dishes while they await drying and placement in the cabinets. There are many other locations that the Aquacera W9332215 HCP works great, however – including dorm rooms, apartments, hotel rooms while traveling, vacation bungalows, boats, and RVs.
The filter's diverter valve attaches to the faucet in place of the aerator without special tools, and in a matter of seconds. It won't work with pull-out faucets, however, which usually need an under sink filter to provide filtered water properly.
The Aquacera's Ceraultra filter elements
Ceraultra filter is ceramic which consists of a carbon block core. This makes the filter powerfully effective at ridding the water of dangerous chemicals, plus pathogenic bacteria and the cysts of parasites like Giardia.
Some of the outstanding features and performance offered by the Aquacera include:
- 0.9 Micron absolute pore size for physical filtration, though the nominal pore Micron Rating is 0.5 to 0.8 microns.
- Removes most volatile organic compounds (VOCs), heavy metals, and other chemicals, including but not limited to lead, arsenic, iron, aluminum, nitrite, chlorine, chloramines, COD (chemical oxygen demand), herbicides, solvents, THM (trihalomethanes), and PAH (poly-aromatic hydrocarbons).

Can the ceramic filter be removed to be washed?
Yes, it can, you can use a scotch brite green bad or an abrasive brush the clean it.

Coli, Fecal Coliform—>99.9999% (ALcontrol Laboratories) Cysts—Cryptosporidium Parvum, Giardia Lamblia—100% (ALcontrol Laboratories) ], as the Aquacera Fluoride Plus Countertop Water Filter?
It removes everything but the fluoride.
