  • I will order this filter. If it does not fit can I return it and be reimbursed. My filter is a New Wave Enviro Counter Filter but it is about 15 years old.

    Yes, you can return it, but it should fit.

  • What filter do I want for enviro products 10 stage water filter at least a dozen years old

    This one is the only filter New Wave Enviro offers, so you would need it.

  • What are the dimensions of the NEW WAVE ENVIRO 10 STAGE PLUS COUNTERTOP REPLACEMENT FILTER?

    They are 2.5" x 10" they will fit a 10" standard filter housing.

  • Does the filter remove cysts & bacteria?

    No, this one does not. I would recommend the Aquacera CeraMetix filters for bacteria.

  • I watched the video but it does not explain how to change the filter . Could you assist me with that?

    You unscrew the canister of the base and take the old filter out and put the new one in and screw the canister back on the base. 

  • How long does the filter last

    You should replace annually or when the water starts to taste bad again or the water flow slows way down.  They last usually 9 months to a year depending how bad your water is.

Happy me

I was able to install the filter myself though I hadn't done it in the past. I've used it for awhile now and am very pleased with how easy it is to use and how quickly the water flows through it.

Such A Shame

To be fair, this filter is a redesign to meet new government guidelines on arsenic levels. Sadly, that info is not presented at purchase; nor are the effects of the redesign. The redesigned filter leaves the water with a musty taste. It is physically smaller than the older model and this affects the pressure inside the housing and let's the water continually flow after the water is turned off. I loved the previous model, this was my third purchase from this company. Once the holidays are over I'm going to find another brand.
