The description says this filter will replace the ProOne FS10 filter; however, the filter showing here is not in a case. The original filter replacement for the FS10 comes in a case. So how is this filter supposed to be put in when there is no case? Would I need to take the case apart from the current filter I have and put this one inside? I would need some instructions for how to do so. Does it come with instructions for how to install it with the FS10?
This one is a block filter, so it does not need a cartridge. The ProOne filter used granular filter media, so it had to be put in a cartridge to hold the filtering media. With this one, you make sure the rubber washers are on each end of the filter and put it in the filter housing.
