Approximately how long does a 10,000 gallon filter last with a family of 4?
The CQE-RC-04002 Multi Stage Plus ( 10,000 gallon filter ) is rated for 1-3 years or 10,000 gallons. Time will vary depending upon your water condition and consumption. With a family of 4 using for just drinking 2-3 years. If using for cooking as well 1-2 years.

Does the Filter remove Fluoride?
No, this one does not. You would need the fluoride multi-stage filter. here is the link to it.

Yes, it does remove chlorine.

Will this cartridge remove the “rotten egg” smell (hydrogen sulfide?) from my well water?
