Sprite Shower Filters come in several different models you can get a Sprite High-output shower filter that is a high capacity shower filter it will filter your shower water for 1 year or 30,000 gallons whichever comes first. You can get them in chrome or white, with or with out a shower head.

If you are looking for a shower filter that does not extend your shower head much then the Sprite slim-line shower filter would be a good choice as it is a low profile design it only extends your shower head 1.5” they also come in chrome or white and with or with out a shower head so you can use your own shower head if you would like. The slim-line shower filters filter for 6 months or 15,000 gallons whichever comes first.

You can also get a Sprite All-In-One Shower Head Filter were the shower filter is inside the shower head instead of having a shower filter and a shower head it is a all in one unit. They come in chrome or white and the replacement cartridge will last 15,000 gallons or one year. Depending what model you buy they have 3, 5 or 8 spray patterns the Sprite Royale 5 has 5 spray patterns and Anti-Scaling Tips the Sprite Prestige 3 has 3 spray patterns and the Sprite pure-Spray 8 has 8 spray patterns and Anti-Scaling Tips.

Sprite uses Chlorgon and kdf media in their shower filters

What is chlorgon?

Chlorgon is one type of Redox filtration media. It was researched and developed and patented by David Farley, CEO of sprite Industries, Inc.

Chlorgon converts free-chlorine into harmless chloride. This is known as Reduction-Oxidation (Redox).

During Redox reaction electrons are transferred between molecules, which create new elements.

When free-chlorine comes in contact with chlorgon it is changed into a water soluble chloride.

The reaction is free-chlorine is changed into a larger chloride element that is to large to be absorbed by your skin or evaporate. So it is harmlessly carried through your water supply.

Chlorgon works well in a variety of temperatures from hot water to cold water.

What is KDF?

Sprite shower filters also have KDF media in them another type of Redox that was researched and patented by Don Heskett, founder of KDF fluid treatment.

KDF also converts free chlorine into harmless chloride. KDF media is a high-purity copper-zinc formulation, it will also reduce or remove iron oxides, (Rust water) hydrogen sulfide (rotten-egg odor), heavy metals and control microorganisms.

KDF is 100% recyclable and has no chemical additives, many hospitals, restaurants, municipal water treatment facilities and homes rely on the KDF process to remove contaminants from their drinking water. Read more on KDF
